We want to thank everyone, including our valued trades & community partners, who donated to support our 3rd annual Carrington Food Drive! Your generosity will mean so much to so many people this holiday season. We are thrilled to say that we have surpassed our goal!

Together we collected $9,654 in cash, and 1980 lbs of non-perishable goods valued at $7088.40! Better yet - each dollar donated is worth $3 of buying power, making the total impact of the annual Carrington Food Drive worth $36,050.40!

This amount will go towards feeding those in need in the Kelowna and Vernon areas during the holiday season. THANK YOU!

For the third year in a row, we will collect non-perishable food items and cash donations in support of the Central Okanagan Food Bank and Salvation Army Vernon Community Church until December 16th! 

The Central Okanagan Food Bank (COFB) is the largest food bank in the Interior of BC and provides nutritional food assistance to residents facing financial and food insecurity out of two locations, one in Kelowna and one in West Kelowna. As a charitable not-for-profit organization, COFB relies on the generosity of the community to support the work they do through the donation of food, funds, and time.

Salvation Army Vernon Community Church

The Salvation Army has been in the community of Vernon for many years. They are a church within the Salvation Army’s Canada and Bermuda Territory. The food bank at House of Hope is a member of Food Banks British Columbia (FBBC) and an affiliated member of the Canadian Association of Food Banks. They are the only authorized Food Bank in Vernon.
